Nowadays music choices are heavily dependent on satellite TV, what with the music channels, and new Hindi film trailors being shown almost constantly. Thanks to the satellite boom, the Hindi film and non-film music industries have received a major boost. Also, Indian youth are listening to much the same music as their trans Atlantic counterparts.
